Final Halloween Geocache
Our geocaching efforts finally paid off. If you’ve been following, we’ve been working on the 2008 Halloween Geocaching Challenge. Twelve geocaches provide clues to the grand finale. With the grab of the final geocache, we were able to put the pieces in place and solve the riddle for the Halloween finale.
Unlike the other caches, the multi was in muggle territory, read: suburbia. Our first stab at it took us way short. When we finally honed in on ground zero, B had another trick up his sleeve. It was a clever hide, within 25 feet of the trail, in view of a sea of townhouses.
We struggled. My geo-sense was right on target, picking out the beacon. Home free.
Not so fast. We struggled with the math until tonka_boy shined through and pulled it out of the fire. Here’s our find of the Halloween geocache finale. Enjoy.
