Geocaching and Blackberry
Today we tested the Geo Navigator software for my Blackberry. In a word, wow.
This is just the kind of application I’ve always wanted for a GPSr. It can find my location. From there, it can list the nearby caches within a radius I designate. Makes geocaching on the road so much easier. I can also list caches by an address, a zip code, or a cache code. But, wait, there’s more.
The application pulls the details and logs from Geocaching.com. I get all those specifics that I’d be using my HandSpring Visor and CacheMate to list. Not only that, but once I’ve found the cache, I can log it right there. How cool is that?
I suppose it was about time I made it into the 21st century.
