Our 300th Geocache
I am very happy to report that we found our 300th geocache.
We decided to head to an area where we had found several of the Halloween 2008 geocaches. I’m growing to like this area. We even found a nice little hole-in-wall restaurant that we like.
As it was last week, the trails were sloppy. Patchy ice made the walking difficult. On the bright side, the muggle traffic was low. Maybe they have more sense than me than to trash a pair of jeans for a few geocaches.
There were some clever geocachers hiding these caches. Always makes it more fun it a geocache makes you laugh out loud, which our first find of the day did on a geocache appropriately named, Stuffed.

Our next find was equally clever. I wondered what to think, standing right on the trail with the my Blackberry GPS saying we were on top of the cache. Sure enough, it was there. The limb to the left has a rope attached to it which frees the geocache from its hiding place.

So, we were getting close to the big 3-0-0. I hadn’t considered identifying a particular geocache. Come as it may. What I hadn’t planned on was the geocache that would turn out to be number 300.
