Ready for Some Camping
We love to camp. We look forward to our annual trips. Now that we have my family hooked on geocaching, it’s easy to get in some finds while we’re vacationing.
So while gardeners will browse seed catalogs in anticipation of spring, I browse camping sites for camping tools in anticipation of the camping season. We try to do a lot of cooking at the campsite, so anything that makes life easier in the camp kitchen is much appreciated. Since our first trip is late spring, weather can be variable. Anything to keep the fires going a damp day from waterproof matches to firestarters is welcome.
My husband and I are the last of the tent campers in my family. They miss out on that special pleasure of hearing the wind through the trees or the waves crashing the shore. They may have a private bath, but our waterside accommodations can’t be beat.
This year’s trip should be fun. I can’t wait to camp with my new toys and get in some geocaching.
