Vlingo Thinks What?
If you have a Blackberry or an iPhone, Vlingo is a must have mobile application. It’s a voice recognition software with an impressive array of functions.
With a bit of time to learn your voice, you’re ready to go. With Vlingo, I can do searches, send emails, send text messages. I can also update my Twitter and Facebook status. It can also open applications like calendar and camera for you all through voice commands.
Vlingo’s best use for me has been with adding tasks. I can add to my to do list on the fly with it. Now, the software, Yvonne as I call the software voice, must still be in training for my voice. The other night I added this task:
Add blog post.
Vlingo, on the other hand, interpeted it slightly differently. This is the task that it gave me.
You have balls.
News to my husband, to be sure. Guess I have to work on voice recognition with Yvonne a little more. Photo by Jeff Kubina

LOL. Sounds to me like Vlingo is just letting you know what it really thinks of that task.
